Set up a league
- Open the original Fantasy Draft page and choose a Pokémon pool. The menu includes Kanto, Retro, Wild and individual generation options.
- Choose the number of teams allowed by that pool. The Kanto screen states that the original 151 supports up to six teams.
- Choose Random or Host Sets draft order, and a 30, 60, 90-second or untimed pick timer.
- Set Legendaries, Kicker and lobby visibility. A private lobby can be joined with its link or code.
- Enter your team name, pick 3-4 or 4-3 defense and Fullback or Slot offense, then create the league.
Friends can use the Join with a Code panel. Public lobbies appear in the original page’s lobby list when available.
Understand the snake draft
In a snake draft, the selection order reverses at the end of each round. If your league has four teams, the order runs 1–2–3–4, then 4–3–2–1. A player near the turn makes two picks close together, then waits through a longer gap.

The grading priorities remain the same as the challenges. Quarterback matters individually, the offensive line matters collectively, and weak fits receive extra penalties.
Agree on settings before drafting
- A narrower generation pool changes the choices everyone can make. Check the selected pool with your friends.
- A short timer rewards preparation; an untimed draft gives new players time to consult the scouting chart.
- Private lobbies are useful for a group with an invitation link or code. Public lobbies appear for others to join.
- Legendaries follow the same position-fit rules. Their availability setting is a league choice, not a new scoring system.
Watch the season and improve the next draft
The original Fantasy Draft page describes filling every spot and watching the season play out together. This multiplayer mode is a drafting league; the Bowl and Pro pages provide separate playable football games.
After the league, compare where you ran short of a trait, such as line weight or cornerback speed. The next draft is easier when you know which positions your group tends to prioritize.
