Both use the same position-fit ratings, so a player in a suitable role performs better. The field action also uses traits such as Speed, Attack, Defense, HP and the special stats.

Bring your lineup onto the field

  1. Build and save a lineup on all22pokemon.com.
  2. Choose Play with Your Team on the original Builder.
  3. Check Your All-22 on the original game selector, then choose Bowl or Pro.
  4. If no team has been saved there, the original selector says it will use the classic lineup.

A saved team lives on the original host. Opening the game from this playbook keeps the original host responsible for the roster and game state.

A practical first-game plan

Begin with one mode long enough to learn its snap, passing and defensive controls. Open How to Play before the first kickoff, then use the Bowl and Pro controls guide alongside your game window.

  • In Bowl, learn the context-sensitive A and B actions. The label changes with the play.
  • In Pro, learn the receiver numbers and tap-versus-hold passing before adding hot routes.
  • On a phone, use the touch instructions for the selected game. Bowl’s menu recommends landscape.
  • Use the pause menu when you need to check controls rather than guessing in the middle of a play.

What your Pokémon stats do during play

TraitOn-field contribution described by the creator
SpeedRunning speed and how quickly a player gets moving
AttackDriving power for blocks, tackles and breaking tackles
Defense and HPHolding ground and taking hits
Sp. Def, Sp. Atk and SpeedCatching
Sp. Atk and Sp. DefQuarterback arm and accuracy

Weight supports physical play but heavier players accelerate a little more slowly. Position suitability and the underlying stats both matter.
