The formation switch keeps 11 defensive starters but changes the roles in the middle. The creator describes the nose tackle and one inside linebacker becoming defensive tackles, while the other inside linebacker becomes the middle linebacker.

A heavy player who anchors nose tackle may remain useful at defensive tackle, but the new role also emphasizes Attack. A strong inside linebacker may need a different stat balance if moved into a defensive-tackle job. Use the position finder rather than assuming a switch upgrades the roster automatically.
Fullback or Slot?

Keep the position’s new job in mind before you reuse a player. A Fullback roster and a Slot roster have different needs even if the other ten offensive names are the same. This is a role tradeoff, rather than a universal best setting.
